The Milton Historical Society hosts it’s monthly meeting series on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:30 pm, at 16 James Street in our Carriage Room in the Waldie Blacksmith Shop. Guest are always most welcome!

Thur. Feb.  15 Guest Speaker:
John Challinor II
In celebration of Heritage Month, local historian John Challinor will be highlighting individuals who have been inducted into Milton’s Walk of Fame.
Thur. Mar.  15 Guest Speaker:
Marsha Waldie U.E.
Local historian Marsha Waldie U. E. will be sharing the history of our Town’s 38 Mayors – George Brown 1857 to Gordon Krantz 2018
Thur. Ap.   19 Guest Speaker:         Mike Twiss  Join us for an informal  evening of “P. L. Robertson Screw Co. – Show and Tell”. Mike has been an avid collector of Robertson memorabilia for a number of yrs. We invite you to learn and also to bring in your personal Robertson treasures or story to share with everyone!
Thur. May  17 Guest Speaker:
John McDonald
Historian John McDonald will be telling us about the amazing Fleming Family, who lived in Milton from about 1840 until 1870. His research has turned up some interesting surprizes!
Thur. June  21 Members Only Our Pot Luck will be held at the restored historic Panton Family Home.

Thur. Nov.  15 Guest Speaker:
John McDonald
Historian John McDonald will be sharing his research on T. C. Livingston P.L.S.   As a land surveyor he prepared a number of maps including the 1858 for Milton. He developed Livingston Park in Milton and his life has other fascinating facts of interest.
