Video Editing
Running a film festival often requires video content, for sponsor ads as well as for our own use. Here are a few I’ve created:
A short ad for office waiting room screens (no sound)
A generic promo ad with music
A dynamic ad for one of the Festival’s sponsors
A brief memorial video for a filmmaker who passed away in 2020
Technical Drawing
My employer, Business Edge International, has been doing an increasing amount of sign work, including large outdoor signs which require accurate, scaled technical drawings to be submitted with the permit application.
History of Film Display
For Canada’s 150th birthday, I created an interactive exhibit on the early development of moving pictures for the Milton Film Festival’s booths at community events and Culture Days. The display includes information panels, a video reel of early films, a mock Kinetoscope, and a working Zoetrope with strips that kids can draw or colour in themselves.
